College Football Picks: Week 11 Recap

Here is my quick recap of last week’s picks.  I went 5-5-2 against the line and 11-1 straight up.  Here is a link to the post on my predictions.

Wins:

Miami +9 over FSU – Thanks to a late Miami rally, the score reflected how close the game should have been.

Oregon +3.5 over Stanford – Like I predicted, Oregon was way too fast for the Stanford offense.

Missouri +1.5 over Texas – Texas proved that they are a long ways away from where they want to be and still have yet to be competitive in against a quality Big12 opponent.

Oklahoma State -20 over Texas Tech – DANG!!! OSU was outstanding and Texas Tech was dreadful!

Kansas State +5.5 over Texas A&M – The aggies did it again! Big props to KState’s QB, Klein, for another gutsy performance.

Losses:

Clemson -17 over Wake Forest – This game was way closer than expected.  Clemson was definitely the better team, but had to fight through a series of what could have been costly turnovers to finally win the game.

NC State -2 over Boston College – The entire Glennon family should just stop trying to play football…

Maryland +20.5 over Notre Dame – Maryland could very well be the worst team in the ACC right now.

Auburn +12 over Georgia – Georgia looks really good right now.  Don’t count the Dawgs out in the SEC championship game yet!

Baylor -20.5 over Kansas – Baylor was lucky come back and win this game, which proved that Baylor isn’t ready yet to make a name for itself in the Big12.

Push:

Nebraska -3 over Penn State – Penn State definitely showed some serious heart in this game.  However, the lack of preparation and lack of an offense really hurt them in this one.  I don’t see Penn State winning again this year.

Duke +10 over Virginia
